Balgray Wind Farm
We are committed to working closely with local communities and stakeholders to bring forward proposals that are responsive to local views and opinions, help to support our net zero aspirations and make a positive contribution to the local economy.
Project Overview
Following extensive public consultation and stakeholder engagement, we have applied to the Scottish Government for permission to develop Balgray Wind Farm, located approximately 6km north-east of Lockerbie in Dumfries and Galloway.
We have undertaken a range of consultation with the local community and key stakeholders which has helped to inform our final design. We hope that this website helps to provide information on our plans, provide access to the application documentation and details the benefits that the wind farm could deliver – including a substantial community benefit fund.

Nathan joined Fred. Olsen Renewables as an intern. He has now progressed to the position of Assistant Project Manager, supporting the team to bring forward projects in partnership with close collaboration with communities, stakeholders and statutory consultees.
